Q: Who can I contact if I have a query?

A: If you need assistance, you can contact RSPB Customer Services by telephone on 0345 034 7733 between the hours of 8 am and 8 pm seven days a week, or by e-mail at shopping@rspb.org.uk

Q: Can I protect the balance on my card?

A: Yes. To secure against loss or theft we advise you to register your card online. Registration is easy and only takes about 5 minutes. If your card is lost or stolen, please report this online as soon as possible. We will then send you a replacement card in the post with your remaining credit. 

Q: What happens if the card is stolen and used before I report it?

A: We can only transfer any unused balance to a replacement card once the card has been reported lost. We cannot reimburse any balance used between the loss of the card and you visiting this website and reporting it lost. 

Q: If I register a card, is the balance on the card automatically protected?

A: No. The balance on any card can only be protected from unauthorised use if you report the card lost or stolen before the balance is used. There is no guarantee on the balance. 

Q: If I report a card lost and then find it again, can I report it found?

A: No. Once you report a card as lost or stolen, it cannot be reversed. You must wait for a replacement card to be mailed to you. 

Q: Is there a charge for this replacement card service?

A: No. This is a free service to all cardholders. However, RSPB Sales Ltd reserves the right to charge a fee if you request a replacement card twice within 6 months. 

Q: I have more than one RSPB Gift Card, can I register more than one at the same time?

A: Yes. You can register all of your cards at the same time, or as and when you acquire new cards. Alternatively you can transfer all balances onto a single card at any RSPB store nationwide. 

Q: Can I use my card in any RSPB store?

A: Your card can be used for payment in RSPB stores nationwide and online at www.rspbshop.co.uk . 

Q: How do I top up my card?

A: Gift cards cannot be topped up, as they will become invalid 18 months from the date of purchase.

Q: Does my card have an expiry date?

A: After an 18 month period from the date of purchase it will cease to be valid and the remaining credit will expire and be donated to the RSPB. 

Q: Can I be refunded for a gift card?

A: No, gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash.
